Local VFDโs are helping Santa get to youโฆ
CALIFORNIA, Md. – Need to get your list to Santa? If you have not seen the big guy in your neighborhood yet, do not worry! Our wonderful first responders at many of local fire departments and rescue squads are working hard to help him get to you before the big day. Below you will find a list of Santa runs over the next upcoming weeks.
If you live in a small court or cul-de-sac, come to the road that intersects your street when you hear music and sirens. Crews will cover as many streets within the subdivisions as possible. Unfortunately, the fire departments are not able to cover every street and road.
Seventh District VFD Santa Runs 2020
The Seventh District Volunteer Fire Department is pleased to announce that we will be bringing Santa around to our Community once again by way of a fire truck.ย We will be visiting many of the most populated streets and neighborhoods in our area and hope that you understand that we will not be able to get to them all. We want to accommodate as many people as possible during our time out.ย PLEASE NOTE, this year we will not be stopping as we have in years past.ย We have greatly enjoyed the personal interactions over the years and being able to allow a little extra time for the kids to interact with Santa.ย Unfortunately that will not be possible this year.
Our Santa Runs will begin at 5:30 p.m. and may run up to 8:00 p.m. with the exception of Sunday December 8th they will begin at 5:00 p.m.ย ย If for some reason you do not see us on the night we posted, please check this page the following day by 11:00 a.m. for an update.ย If the time became too late, we have an emergency call or weather becomes an issue, we may have rescheduled your street for another night. We will also put updates on our Facebook page. On Facebook Search “Seventh District Volunteer Fire Department”
The below schedule is as close to accurate as possible but is subject to change due to time constraints or weather. They are also close to the order we will be going in to get to the roads.ย In the tables below, we will start with the street on the left at the top of the list. For example, on Friday, December 11th, the first area will be Dorothy Mae Court and we will end on St. Winifred’s Lane. We will do our best to see everyone in our community.ย If your street is not one that appears on our list please send an e-mail to us at mail@sdvfd5.com and we will make an attempt to make it by your home.ย You can also contact us on our Facebook, twitter or Instagram pages and we welcome pictures and comments of us out an about in your neighborhood! Please tag us in your post.ย We hope you have a Merry Christmas!

Hollywood VFD Santa Runs 2020
We would like to announce to the members of our Community our Annual Santa Run.ย This year we will be bringing Santa around to the Hollywood Community on one of our Fire Engines.ย We plan on starting this Friday, December 4th.ย Our plan is to have Santa around the community on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday nights between 5pm and 8pm.ย Please review our calendar of Santa visits to find out what day Santa will be around your neighborhood.ย
Just a reminder, Santa will be riding on a Fire Engine that will be staffed with our Volunteers.ย If the Engine is needed on an Emergency Incident, we will have to take Santa with us on the Incident and hope to return after the incident is over.ย Also, we might have to reschedule some areas if the weather does not cooperate with us.ย We will let everyone know so you can pass the information on to friends and family.
So, we ask you to please share and let all of your friends and family know so we can say hi and you can say hi to Santa!ย We look forward to seeing all the kids out and we know Santa is looking forward to it as well.
