On May 2 at 1:15 a.m., officers responded to a residence in the 2800 block of Merchant Court in Waldorf for the report of an assault in progress.
While officers were en route, they received information that shots had been fired and the suspects had just fled the scene. A lookout of the suspects’ car was broadcast.
Officers observed the vehicle nearby and initiated a traffic stop. Four passengers jumped out of the car and fled on foot; the driver was apprehended. Officers set up a perimeter and located the suspects.
Investigation revealed the suspects went to the house for a party but were asked to leave after they assaulted several people. As they left, the suspects threw a brick through the windshield of a vehicle and also threw two chairs through the front windows of the house.
Further investigation showed a handgun was not fired during the assault. Eric Dwayne Gross, 19, of Accokeek, Stephanie Charelle Fleming, 21, of Waldorf, Donte Andre Dorsey, 24, of Indian Head, Timothy Aldujuan Sesay, 26 of Waldorf, and Eric Lamont Figeroux Jr., 19, of Alabama were arrested and charged with malicious destruction of property and second-degree assault.
