The 22nd annual Hospice Festival of Trees, the four-day event to benefit Hospice of Charles County, will begin Friday, Nov. 27 and run through Monday, Nov. 30. Come see the festival trees and wreaths on display decorated in this yearโs theme of Home for the Holidays.
All Festival related activities will take place at the Greater Waldorf Jaycees Community Center located at 3090 Crain Highway in Waldorf.ย
The Festival will kick off with a new event this year, Hypnotist Jack J. Laurie on Friday, Nov. 27.ย Doors will open at 6:30 p.m. for cocktails and dinner with the show beginning at 8 p.m. Tickets are $50 per person. โThe Hypnotist Show will be a great way for people to unwind and enjoy a fun filled evening with friends,โ stated Christy Dickerson, co-chair of the 2009 event.
The Festival opens its doors and welcomes the general public on Saturday between the hours of 10 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., Sunday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. and Monday from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Tickets for general admissions are $8 for adults and $5 for children ages two to 11 and Seniorโs 60 and up. Special events throughout the weekend include Lunch with Santa, Black Tie Gala, Senior Brunch and much more. The family memorial service will be held Sunday afternoon at 4 pm as a way to honor the men, women and children served by hospice over the past year.
