The members of Troop #1443, led by Meredith Wilkes-Arnold, earned the majority of the $1,018.51 to purchase the vest by selling fruit cups and lemonade at Earth Day and the Solomonโ€™s Boat Race. They also solicited donations from local businesses.

Karis Arnold, Jaelynn Willey, Angeleigh Morren, Sara Fletcher, Briley Gillingham, and Rebecca Browne each received their Journey Patch, as part of the Girl Scouts Journey โ€œOne Team –ย  One Communityโ€ Program. Sheriff Cameron presented each scout with the Journey bracelet and thanked each one personally for their teamwork and generous donation to the community by way of the Sheriffโ€™s Office.

Troop #1443 would like to thank the Law Offices of Harris and Capristo, the Law Offices of Dugan, McKissick, Longmore, the Law Office of Kevin McDevitt, and Southern Maryland Practical Shooters for their donations and helping them achieve this goal.ย ย ย

Sheriff Cameron and the men and women of the St. Maryโ€™s County Sheriffโ€™s Office would like to sincerely thank Girl Scout Troop #1443 for providing state-of-the-art protection for K9 Noro who in return protects the citizens and law enforcement officers of St. Maryโ€™s County.ย
