ANNAPOLIS, MD – Governor Larry Hogan today released the following statement regarding the terrorist attacks in Sri Lanka:
“On this holiest of days for the Christian faith – a day of renewal and joyful celebration – we are devastated by the horrific attacks in Sri Lanka that have claimed hundreds of lives, including American lives, and injured hundreds more.
“This kind of senseless assault on innocents of any faith is despicable. It wounds the very heart of our humanity.
“We are firm in our resolve to stand together against violent extremism in all its forms. The people of Sri Lanka are in the prayers of all Marylanders as we mourn the victims of these acts of terror.”
