
PRINCE FREDERICK, Md. — The Calvert County Department of Community Resources and the Calvert County Family Network (CCFN) are pleased to support the Grab ‘n Go Summer Meals Program, hosted by Calvert County Public Schools (CCPS). The program ensures children have access to nutritious meals during the summer months.
Meal kits will be distributed weekly on Wednesdays from July 1 through Aug. 5, 2026. Each kit includes five breakfast meals, five lunch meals and milk.
Distribution sites and times are:
- Huntingtown High School
- 4125 Solomons Island Road, Huntingtown
- 9:30-10:30 a.m.
- Southern Middle School
- 9615 H.G. Trueman Road, Lusby
- 9:30-10:30 a.m.
- Calvert High School
- 520 Fox Run Road, Prince Frederick
- 12:30-1:30 p.m.
This program is open to eligible children ages 2 to 18. To participate, households must contact the CCPS Child Nutrition Office at 443-550-8680 to confirm eligibility and register each child for the weekly meal distribution program. Households with children not enrolled in CCPS can submit a meal benefit application to determine eligibility at the child nutrition web page. Once confirmed, a child may be registered for a meal pick-up site.
Each meal pick-up date is hosted by community partners in Calvert County, including the departments of Community Resources, Economic Development, Public Safety and Communications & Media Relations; Calvert County Family Network; Detention Center; Health Department; Sheriff’s Office; CalvertHealth; and Department of Social Services.
