Update:
The Great Mills Swimming pool will reopen to the public today, Friday, December 13, at 10 a.m.
The pool was temporarily closed on Tuesday due to a lack of heat in the pool house and locker room areas. County employees have installed new HVAC units to correct the problem.

The Great Mills Swimming Pool will be closed, beginning today at 4 p.m. until Thursday, December 12, due to a lack of heat in the pool house and locker room areas.
The Department of Recreation & Parks says it is working to repair heating units at this time. Staff will reevaluate the situation and provide updates by 1 p.m. on Thursday.
