St. Mary’s County Department of Recreation and Parks would like to inform the public that the Great Mills Swimming Pool will be closed for seasonal maintenance from Tuesday, September 8 through Sunday, September 20, 2009. The pool will reopen for normal hours of operation on Monday, September 21.
During this time, the pool’s air supported “bubble” structure will be installed, making the pool an indoor facility. Other seasonal maintenance and staff training will also occur while the pool is closed.
