Millions and millions of people poured into Leonardtown on Friday, Nov. 28 to celebrate the official opening of the Christmas season at the annual Christmas on the Square celebration. Well, okay, not millions, but there were a whole lot of you there!
There was something on the Square for everyone to be sure. The town went all out with the best “Tree Lighting” ever. Throughout the evening, there was holiday music and lots of entertainment all around the square. Santa and Mrs. Claus arrived to the delight of the children and costumed characters had the crowd smiling all evening..
