
HANOVER, Md. — Anne Arundel County police are investigating a late-night armed robbery outside a Dollar Tree near Arundel Mills Boulevard, where employees were confronted by a gunman as they finished work Sunday.
Police said the incident occurred around 10:30 p.m. Sept. 28, when two staff members were leaving the store at 7651 Arundel Mills Blvd. The employees told investigators a man approached them in the parking lot, showed a handgun and demanded money. They handed over cash before the suspect ran from the scene.
Officers quickly canvassed the area but did not locate the man, who was described as Black. No injuries were reported.
Detectives from the department’s regional crimes unit are now leading the case. Police urged anyone with information to contact investigators at 410-222-4731 or leave an anonymous tip at 410-222-4700.
