Handgun and Baggie were Recovered

At 2:19 AM, on April 1, Rt. 231, Prince Frederick, TFC Keen stopped a vehicle for a traffic violation.  

Upon contact with the occupants, TFC Keen detected the odor of suspected marijuana.  A search was conducted and a handgun and a baggie of suspected marijuana were recovered. 

Arrested for possession of the handgun and marijuana was Robert Joseph Brown, II, 19, of Waldorf; a 17-year-old male, of Waldorf, was charged with possession of marijuana.

After processing, Mr. Brown was transported to the CCDC to await a commissioner’s hearing. 

The juvenile was released to a parent.
