One person received non-life threatening injuries in a head-on crash at the intersection of Route 235 and 4 in California on Sunday night.

Three other people involved signed to refuse a transport to the hospital.

At 8:15 p.m. volunteer firefighters and rescue squads from Hollywood and Lexington Park were dispatched to the crash, reported first as serious.

Responding police and volunteers found four people involved, none trapped, all complaining of seemingly minor pains.

Shortly after checking on all involved and getting the required signatures, extra ambulances were put back into service, along with the Advanced Life Support unit. One person was taken to St. Mary’s Hospital.

The crash took place in the middle of the intersection. The vehicles appeared to be approaching the intersection from opposite directions on Route 4.

The Bay Net will bring more details when they become available.
