On Oct. 24 at 2:28 a.m., Letia Nadine Dennison, 28 of Lusby, was arrested by Tpr. J. Pilkerton for possession of marijuana.
Dennison was operating a tan Cadillac on Three Notch Road, south of Great Mills Road in Lexington Park when she was stopped for exceeding the posted speed limit. Contact was made with Dennison and an odor of alcohol was emitting from her breath. During the course of the traffic stop, Dennison was arrested for DUI. A search incident to the arrest revealed she was in possession of a partially burnt marijuana cigarette.
Dennison was transported to the Leonardtown Barrack for processing concerning the DUI arrest, then taken to the St. Mary’s County Detention Center where she was held pending a bond review.
