HANOVER, Md. — A Severn man is facing multiple handgun and ammunition charges after emergency personnel responded to a reported medical emergency at Arundel Mills late Friday night. Officers later found a loaded handgun inside his vehicle following two crashes.
Around 11:25 p.m. on Nov. 28, officers were called to the 7000 block of Arundel Mills Circle in Hanover for a report of a motorist who appeared unresponsive behind the wheel, according to Anne Arundel County police.
As officers arrived, the driver allegedly put the vehicle in drive and sped away. Shortly afterward, police said, the same vehicle was involved in a second collision that disabled both vehicles.
Officers said they observed signs of alcohol impairment and detained the driver. A loaded 9 mm Glock handgun was found next to the driver’s seat, and investigators later determined the driver is prohibited from possessing firearms.
The driver, identified as Kameron Christopher Randall, 24, of Severn, is charged with multiple misdemeanors, including possessing a firearm without a serial number, having a loaded handgun on his person and in a vehicle, illegal possession of a regulated firearm, illegal possession of ammunition and wearing or carrying a handgun while under the influence.
Randall was ordered held without bond following his arrest. A bail review hearing was scheduled for Dec. 1 in Annapolis District Court, with a trial currently set for Jan. 9, 2026, in Glen Burnie District Court.
