Jut before 4 p.m. Dec. 2, unknown suspects attempted to gain entry to a home on Miriam Lane in Lusby.
Cpl. A. Moschetto of the Calvert County Sheriff’s Office investigated a burglar alarm sounding at the residence and at the time found nothing.
The homeowner later checked the door that sounded the alarm and found what appeared to be prying marks left by an unknown suspect.
Dep. R. Cox arrived and observed the pry marks and other damage to the door. Dep. Cox continues to investigate the case.
