At 1:12 p.m. Thursday, volunteer firefighters from Calvert and St. Mary’s counties responded to a house fire on Adobe Circle, Lusby.
The single-story wood framed house, owned by Stephen Pepper, was destroyed by a fire that started in the basement, Maryland Deputy Fire Marshal John Nelson reports. The loss was estimated at $150,000.
The cause remains under investigation.
Firefighters responded from Solomon’s, St. Leonard, Prince Frederick, Bay District, Hollywood and Leonardtown companies.
