Maryland State Fire Marshall’s are investigating an arson case in Waldorf.
Firefighters from Waldorf Volunteer Fire Department were dispatched to 2900 block of Chesnut Drive on May 19 around 8:01 p.m., after a neighbor discovered the blaze.
Crews arrived on the scene to find the front porch of the single family home on fire.
Investigation revealed that several youths were seen near the front porch of the Fowler home prior to the fire. Anyone with information about this fire is asked to call the Office of the State Fire Marshall, Southern Region at (443) 550-6820.
Charles County Sheriff’s Office is assisting with the investigation.
