Annapolis, MD-On December 7th, 2024 the Huntingtown Hurricanes entered the Naval Academy with the added pressure; playing after two other SMAC schools had gained victory during the past few days.
Their win would have completed a sweep of the Maryland state championship for Southern Maryland Schools. However, despite the close game, the Hurricanes were defeated by the Seahawks, 13-12.
