On Sept. 9, Dfc. Kirkner responded to the parking lot of the IHOP Restaurant in Lexington Park for the report of a disturbance in the parking lot.
Investigation revealed Kirby B. Jordan, 19 of Valley Lee, was in the parking lot shouting profanities and acting in a disorderly manner.ย Jordan was advised several times to cease her actions and refused.
Jordan was subsequently placed under arrest, charged with Disorderly Conduct and incarcerated in the Detention Center pending an appearance before the District Court Commissioner.
On Sept. 7, Dfc. J. Kirkner responded to a residence in California, Maryland for the reported Domestic Disturbance.ย Investigation revealed the victim and suspect were involved in a verbal altercation in the parking lot outside the residence.
Investigation revealed the suspect, Tammy L. Styles, 36 of Leonardtown, had scratched the victim on his face during the dispute.
Styles was placed under arrest, charged with Second Degree Assault and incarcerated in the Detention Center pending an appearance before the District Court Commissioner.
On Sept. 6, Deputy Maquire initiated a vehicle stop on Three Notch Road, Charlotte Hall for a traffic violation.ย Upon making contact with the operator of the vehicle, William C. Weeks, Jr. 57 of Brooklyn. Deputy Maquire detected the odor of an alcoholic beverage emitting from the operator.
Weeks was unable to satisfactorily complete the administered field sobriety tests and was placed under arrest.ย A check of Mr. Weekโs Maryland Drivers License revealed Mr. Weeks was required to have an ignition interlocking device on vehicles he operates.ย The vehicle being operated by Mr. Weeks was not equipped with the device.
Weeks was subsequently charged with Driving while Intoxicated, Driving in Violation of License Restriction, Fail to Drive Right of Center, incarcerated in the Detention Center pending an appearance before the District Court Commissioner.
On Sept. 9, Deputy Campbell observed a vehicle fail to stop before entering the highway.ย A vehicle stop was initiated and contact was made with the operator, Brian A. Hickman, 27 of Mechanicsville.
An odor of an alcoholic beverage was detected emitting from the person of Hickman. He was unable to satisfactorily complete the administered field sobriety tests and was placed under arrest.
Hickman was subsequently charged with Driving While Intoxicated and incarcerated in the Detention Center pending an appearance before the District Court Commissioner.
On Sept. 7, Deputy W. Waters responded to the McKayโs in Lexington Park for the reported Theft. Investigation revealed Bonita M. Fenwick, 50 of Lexington Park, entered the food store and concealed various food items in her purse and plastic bags.
Police say Fenwick then exited the store without rendering payment for the items. She was stopped by store employees and escorted to the store security office.
Fenwick was arrested by Deputy Waters, charged with Theft under $500 and incarcerated in the Detention Center pending an appearance before the District Court Commissioner.
