County youth will have an opportunity to get some training to get them started in business.ย ย A 14 hour course to give youth the knowledge and confidence to care for infants and school age children is being offered at the Free Time to Overtime headquarters in La Plata. We will have young local entrepreneurs partnered with a local woman owned small business, MD CPR First Aid Training LLC to provide a two day course on the 26 and 27th of December 9:00 – 4:00. These budding local entrepreneurs will have a complete learning experience on starting their business to American Red Cross certification in Child & Infant CPR and First aid.

โWe have taken this innovative idea to a younger level and are trying to get our youth prepared for the new employment shift to local entrepreneurism,โ said Mike Zabko Executive Director of Free Time to Overtime. โWe are working together with local entrepreneurs and businesses that need employees or help with projects and connecting them with people who are looking for work. We are extending our reach to our youngย local entrepreneurs in Charles County to have the chance to take advantage of this kind of matchmaking, thanks to a new program called โFree Time to Overtimeโ โ http://www.freetimetoovertime.com,โ Zabko continued.
