Travis Devon Floyd and Alexander Yates Mill
Leonardtown, MD— On Jan.28, St.Mary’s County Sheriff’s Office Deputy Thomas Seyfried responded to the St. Mary’s County Detention Center, for the report of an assault.
The suspects, Alexander Yates Mill, 25 of Hollywood and Travis Devon Floyd, 28 of Lexington Park, assaulted each other during an argument.
According to charging documents, “Both parties, advised they had been playing cards in the dayroom of the unit, and there was a dispute over the game. The parties then left the dayroom and traveled to Cell 322, where an argument ensued between the two.”
“A physical altercation there occurred with both subjects assaulting each other. Both parties had visible signs of injury and were treated accordingly. Based on the accounts of both parties, an aggressor could not be determined,” according to charging documents.
Both displayed injuries consistent with the allegations. Mill and Floyd were charged with second-degree assault: DOC Inmate.
At this time, both Floyd and Mills do not have scheduled court dates. Floyd and Mills both face a maximum jail sentence of 10 years and or a maximum fine of $2,500.
