On January 15, 2010 Deputy H. Allen responded to J.C. Penny in California, for a report of a theft. 

Investigation revealed between January 7 and January 10, Lity Gean Thompson, 36 of Lexington Park, an employee of J.C. Penney, used various techniques to steal clothing from the store. 

Thompson was charged with three counts of theft under $1,000 and one count of theft scheme.
