Lusby, MD— On Jan.20, Calvert County Sheriff’s Office Dfc. G. Gott was dispatched to Sneade’s on HG Trueman Road, in Lusby, for the report of a shoplifter.ย 

Erin Stahl, 28 of Lusby, was charged with theft less than $100 (watch and bottle of perfume) and for possession of paraphernalia (pipe).

According to charging documents, “An employee advised that the white female appeared to be jittery as if she had been using drugs and was with a white male.”ย 

“The white female is then observed going to the checkout counter with a RedBull energy drink, and sheย pays for that item and leaves without paying for the other items. The white male is not seen stealing any items and pays for some brass fitting at the counter,” according to charging documents.ย 

“The store manager advised she observed a white female acting strangely in the shop and noticed she was holding the perfume and time band watch,” according to charging documents.ย 

Stahl has a court date scheduled for March 7 at the Calvert County District Court. Stahl faces a maximum jail sentence of three months and or a maximum fine of $1,000.ย 

The officer that prepared the charging documents, in this case, was Dfc.Gott of the Calvert County Sheriff’s Office.ย
