On Sunday, July 20, at 1:16 p.m., Tpr. M. Adams responded to a reported disturbance in the 41000 block of Queen’s Landing Road in Mechanicsville.
Contact was made with the male complainant, 50 of Mechanicsville, who advised he was assaulted by his 17-year-old son. The juvenile was taken into custody and transported to the Leonardtown Barrack where he was processed and charged for second-degree assault.
The juvenile was turned over to Juvenile Services because his parents refused to accept custody. Further action is pending by Juvenile Services.
