At approximately 5:16 pm, on March 16, officers from the Calvert County Sheriff’s Office and Maryland State Police responded to Kentucky Fried Chicken located at 65 West Dares Beach Road, Prince Frederick in reference to an armed robbery.
One unknown suspect entered the side door of the restaurant and placed a food order while at the counter. During the transaction the suspect displayed a handgun and demanded money from the cash register. None of the employees were injured during the incident.
The suspect was last seen on foot behind the Prince Frederick Radio Shack. The suspect was described as an African American male, mid-to-early 30s, approximately 5’11” tall weighing 250-275 lbs with a thick black and white beard . The suspect was wearing a black “bomber” style jacket and possibly sunglasse
