AVENUE, Md. — Kicksville Festival will return to Riverview Farm in Avenue, Maryland, from May 9-10, bringing a weekend of camping, music, and nature along the Potomac River.
The event marks a significant stop on Papadosio’s hiatus tour before the band takes a break from touring this fall. Festivalgoers can expect five unique sets from Papadosio, including a rare acoustic performance featuring deep cuts, fan favorites, and surprises exclusive to the event.
The lineup includes a range of artists known for improvisation and musicianship: Octave Cat, Soohan, Chalk Dinosaur Ensemble, Luke the Knife, Tim Palmieri, De Greenie, Electric Love Machine (performing two sets, including tributes to Phish and Ween), EOS, Merrick Noves, CD Davis, Dub_Sarge, Uncle Kunkel’s One Gram Band (two sets), and Eeli.
A Thursday early arrival pre-party on May 8 will feature a performance by Photon, a supergroup including Neal “Fro” Evans of Dopapod, Dan Africano of Thievery Corporation, Tim Palmieri of Lotus, and Jimmy Dunstan of YAMN.
Organizers describe Kicksville as an intimate gathering focused on quality live music and community, rather than large crowds or elaborate production.
Tier 2 weekend passes are $200, and single-day tickets are $100. Tickets and additional event details are available at kicksvillefest.com. For updates, follow @Kicksvillefest on Instagram.
