On Aug. 15, at 1:35 a.m., Deputies responded to the report of a disturbance in the parking lot of Big Dogs Paradise in Mechanicsville.
While investigating the disturbance, Kristine Kirby, 32 of Waldorf, was observed shouting profanities and acting in a disorderly manner.
After giving Kirby several warnings to discontinue her actions she continued and was subsequently placed under arrest by Dep. J. Graves. Kirby was charged with disorderly conduct, failure to obey the lawful order of a police officer and obstructing/hindering an investigation.
Kirby was transported to the Detention Center pending an appearance before the District Court Commissioner.
