La Plata High School’s wrestling team came away victorious after a Tuesday night tri-match at Leonardtown.

 La Plata took both their matches, and shut out McDonough High School during their match.

 In the first match, Leonardtown beat McDonough 64 to 3.

 In the second match, La Plata shut out McDonough 82 to 0

 La Plata topped Leonardtown in the third match, 52 to 13.

 Todd Sharp, head coach for LaPlata, said after the matches: “The kids look sharp, and we wrestled physical.”
