On December 21, 2011, deputies responded to the Wal-Mart on Miramar Way, California, Maryland, for theft report. Investigation revealed a Wal-Mart Loss Prevention Specialist observed Amanda Lynn Abell, 29, of Leonardtown, Maryland, conceal merchandise in a bag and attempt to exit the store without paying for the items. The Loss Prevention Specialist detained Abell until police arrival. Deputy Bankhead arrested Abell and charged her with theft.
