On December 14, 2010 at 4:30 p.m., TFC E. M. Evans responded to the 22000 block of Newtowne Neck Road in Leonardtown for a reported Domestic Disturbance.
Upon arrival, contact was made with a male complainant, 32, of Leonardtown who advised following a verbal disagreement he was struck with an object that caused physical injury to him. Information provided by the victim and suspect Angel Mae Wathen, 25, of Leonardtown coincided with evidence observed on the scene of the incident by TFC Evans.
Wathen was arrested for Second-Degree Assault and transported to the St. Mary’s County Detention Center. She was held pending a bond review with the District Court Commissioner.
