I can’t tell you how excited I am to be able to see light at the end of a smoky tunnel!

My husband and I have stopped frequenting a number of places because the smoke is just too bad. If you want “happy hour” prices at some establishments, you must sit in the smoking section.

I know a lot of bars fear they will lose their customers, truth is, they may not feel the effects at all. New York City has a “no smoking” policy. It was such a pleasure last year to be able to go into any restaurant and enjoy a smoke free drink and dinner and places were still packed. If New York City can do it, we can do it!

I do believe that everyone has a right to their personal “habits”, unfortunately smoking effects everyone around, and is harmful. If these bars/restaurants don’t want to give up the smoking rule. They need to have a separate area for non smokers with happy hour prices as well!

How many other people feel this way?

Thanks for your time.
