On September 11, 2011, officers responded to a residence in Lexington Park, Maryland for the report of a home invasion and assault. The victim was discovered suffering from head and facial injuries and transferred to Washington Hospital Trauma Center.
BCI Detectives responded and assumed the investigation. During the investigation it was determined three males entered the victim’s residence, struck the victim several times with a blunt object and stole property of the victim from the residence.
Three suspects were subsequently identified and arrested. Dontavious J. Holley, age 20, of Lexington Park, Md., Lamonte J. Morgan, age 19, of Callaway, Md. and Jonathan M. Barnes, age 19, of Callaway, Md. were charged with Armed Robbery and Conspiracy to Commit Armed Robbery and incarcerated in the detention center. All three suspects remain incarcerated at the St. Mary’s County Detention Center pending a bond review in District Court.
