Assault:
On July 8, 2011, Deputy Cory Ellis responded to a residence in Lexington Park for an assault. Upon arrival, Deputy Ellis learned Joseph Wade Barnes 48 years old of Lexington Park became involved in an argument with his wife. During the argument, Barnes struck the victim causing injury. Joseph Wade Barnes was arrested and charged with second degree assault.
