Thirteen businesses in Lexington Park participated in the Lexington Park Business and Community Association’s annual Holiday Display Contest and a winner was announced Wednesday, December 22. Clark’s Flooring, located at 21700 Great Mills Road, won with their lovely, hand-painted winter scene created by Ebby Bell, who works as one of the store’s friendly sales associates.
Clark’s Flooring gets more than just bragging rights. The top prize for this year’s community enhancing holiday contest is a feature on TheBAYNET.com along with one month of effective banner advertising on the site. This year’s second runner-up was Vintage Values and third was Raley’s Home Furnishings.
The contest was decided by celebrity judges including Commissioner Todd Morgan, Bill Scarafia of the St. Mary’s Chamber of Commerce and local artist Candy Cummings.
