HUNTINGTOWN, Md. — One person was transported to a trauma center Saturday evening after a golf cart rollover crash in Huntingtown.
The crash was reported at approximately 6:55 p.m. on July 4, 2026, in the Twin Ponds area near Peppertree Lane and Barberry Drive.
A caller reported a golf cart had rolled over and that two people, both described as being in their 30s, were injured. One person was initially reported unconscious.
Emergency crews evaluated two patients at the scene. No one was reported trapped or pinned.
A medevac helicopter was requested, but aviation was unavailable due to weather. EMS transported one patient by ground to UM Capital Region Medical Center with life-threatening injuries.
