At approximately 6am on March 26th a black man approximately 6’ tall, 180 lbs., entered a Friendly Cab in the area of North Essex Drivein Lexington Park.
As the cab traveled through the area of South Essex Drive and South Shangri-La the suspect displayed a knife and demanded money.
The driver complied and the suspect fled on foot with an undisclosed amount of currency.
The St. Mary’s County Bureau of Criminal Investigations is investigating the incident.
