CALIFORNIA, Md. – On August 21, 2020, at approximately 11:59 a.m., Volunteers from Bay District Volunteer Fire Department, Lexington Park Volunteer Rescue Squad and Saint Mary’s County Advanced Life Support responded a single-vehicle crash off the roadway on Indian Bridge Road in the area of Corvette Way.
Units arrived to find the vehicle and a single occupant with a reported head injury. It was recommended that the patient to be flown to a local trauma center. However, he refused flight and was transported to MedStar St. Mary’s Hospital.
