On April 11, 2015, Deputy Jason Smith responded to a residence on North Essex Drive in Lexington Park, for a domestic assault.
The victim alleged suspect Dennis Paul Register, age 49, of Lexington Park, struck the victim in the face with his fist during an argument that started over dishes.
Deputy Smith observed fresh injury on the victim. Register was placed under arrest and transported to the St. Mary’s County Detention Center. He was charged with 2nd Degree Assault.
