Prince Frederick, MD — A man was arrested after ignoring repeated warnings to stay out of the roadway.
On Saturday, a Calvert County Sheriff’s Office Deputy responded to a call in the area of Route 4 and Sixes Road in Prince Frederick reporting an intoxicated man in the road.
The same deputy had already spoken with the man, 43-year-old Christopher Lee Ward, previously and warned him to stay out of the road or face arrests.
When he arrived at the scene, the deputy found Ward lying on the shoulder of the road. Ward claimed that he was walking to North Carolina.
The deputy placed Ward under arrest and took him to the Calvert County Detention Center.
He was charged with Intoxicated Endangerment.
