On Jan. 16 at 8:03 p.m., while working security at Northern High School in Owings, for a varsity basketball game, Dep. Frank Winston could smell a strong odor of burnt marijuana coming from an individual nearby.
Dep. Winston stopped the male and subsequently found him to be in possession of suspected cocaine. He arrested Marque Anthony Alston, 20 of Chesapeake Beach, and charged him with possession of cocaine and possession with the intent to use drug paraphernalia, clear packaging from a cigarette box, used to store/contain cocaine.
