An Annapolis man is in custody after a robbery attempt at a restaurant. Police say a man entered the Dunkin’ Donuts located at 2568 Riva Road in Annapolis, implied he had a weapon, and demanded cash.
The clerk complied and the suspect fled on Riva Road towards Route 665. Officers responded to the area and located and arrested 40-year-old Wayne Michael Pelle.
No injuries were reported as a result of this incident.
Pelle has been charged with robbery, armed robbery, first-degree assault, second-degree assault, and theft.
