On July 31, 2013, Deputies responded to an assault, that occurred at a residence on South Springsteen Court, California, Maryland.
Deputies met with the victim who advised she was involved in an argument with Derrick Clifton Marshall, 36 of California, Maryland. The argument escalated when Marshall made threats to burn the house down and assaulted the victim, causing injury.
Marshall was arrested and charged with 2nd Degree Assault/Malicious Destruction of Property/Threats of Arson. Deputy James Lloyd was the arresting Deputy.
