At 7 a.m. Jan. 9, Dep. W. R. Milam of the Calvert Sheriff’s office responded to a burglary call on Kings Road in St. Leonard.
The victim said that he arrived home at 3 a.m. that morning and heard a noise in the garage. He then saw a suspect pushing a motorcycle out of the garage and away from the residence.
The victim attempted to chase the suspect on foot, but the suspect jumped on the motorcycle and fled. The victim then got into his vehicle and drove down Kings Road where he observed the motorcycle on the side of the road with no one around it.
He also reported that some items had also been taken from his vehicle.
