St. Mary’s County Deputy Cole responded to the area of Lincoln Avenue in Lexington Park on March 16 for a reported robbery.
The complainant reported his son, who is 6 years old, went outside to ride his bike only to return a short time later. His son indicated someone pulled him off of his bike, placed it into a vehicle, and left the area.
The investigation revealed, suspect James Aaron-Eugene Justice, 31, of Lexington Park, took the bike from the victim because he allegedly thought it was the same bike stolen from his nephew.
Justice was placed under arrest and transported to the St. Mary’s County Detention Center. He was charged with Robbery, Theft Under $100, and 2nd Degree Assault.
