On Wednesday night, detectives from the St. Mary’s County BCI Vice Narcotics Division conducted a Search and Seizure warrant at a house in St. Georges Hundred in Great Mills.
As the Emergency Services Team made entry into the home, one of the targets of the Search Warrant, Jack Franklin Webb, 20, jumped from a second story window.
As soon as he made it to the ground and attempted to run, he encountered Sheriff’s Office K-9 Deputy David Gerhardt and his partner “Frigo”.
Webb immediately surrendered and was found to be in possession of marijuana.

Webb has been on the run for more than six months and was wanted on three open warrants. He was also charged with the additional offense of possession of marijuana.
Also arrested was Brian Keith Stapleton, 20 of Great Mills. He was found to be in possession of a quantity of marijuana and Ecstasy.
The final suspect was Michael Antonio Barnes, 22 of Great Mills. His charge was possession of marijuana. Additional charges are pending a State’s Attorney’s Office review.
