
Antoine Terrel Jones
Great Mills, MD— On Dec.13 St. Mary’s County Sheriff’s Officeย Deputy J. Bittner responded to the 20000 block of Autumn Mill Court in Great Mills, for the report of an assault.
The suspect, Antoine Terrel Jones, 24 of Mechanicsville, and a victim had an initial physical altercation around midnight at which time the suspect stole the garage door opener.
According to court documents ” The victim of the assault, advised he was assaultedย by suspect Jones and part of his ear was bit off.”ย
“The victim stated the suspect entered her (victim’s girlfriend) unlocked car, the suspect took the garage door opener and opened the garage door. The suspect came running upstairs after entering the house through the garage and assaulted the victim,” according to court documents.ย
Jones was arrested and transported to the St. Maryโs County Detention Center. He was charged with home invasion, third-degree burglary, first-degree assault, two counts of second-degree assault, rogue and vagabond, theft less than $100 and two counts of malicious destruction of property.
Jones has a preliminary hearing set for Jan.12 in St. Mary’s County District Court. Jones faces a maximum jail sentence of 83 years and seven months and or a maximum fine of $6,500.ย
