Rico Kinata Keys, Jr

Lexington Park, MD— On Oct. 24, Deputy G. Mushchette responded to the 21000 block of Card Road in Lexington Park, for domestic disturbance in progress.

The suspect, Rico Kinata Keys, Jr, 20 of Great Mills, was escorted off private property where he was unwelcome. He returned a few moments later and ignored requests from Deputy Muschette to leave the property. 

Keys was arrested and transported to the St. Mary’s County Detention Center. He was charged with disorderly conduct, trespassing and failure to obey a lawful order.

Keys also has a trial date set for Dec.3, at St.Mary’s County District Court for an incident that occurred July 24. He was charged with assault second degree, trespassing on private property, malicious destruction of property,and theft less than $1,000. 

According to court documents “The victim proceeded to call the defendant a ‘bitch,’ at which time the defendant walked onto the property and grabbed the victim by her hair. He then slammed her head into a wall causing her glasses to fall off her face and break on the ground.” 

The court documents go on to say “the defendant then dragged the victim by her hair to his vehicle which was parked on the roadway and again slammed her  head into a window on the vehicle.”
