On March 11, 2011 Cpl. Dodson stopped a 2011 Lexus on Great Mills Road. The driver, identified as Patrick Bradley Johnson, 21 of Lexington Park, Maryland, failed to stop at a stop sign. Upon contact with Johnson Cpl. Dodson could smell a strong odor of burnt marijuana emitting from Johnson’s person. Cpl. Dodson also observed suspected marijuana on the seat and on Johnson’s lips. Further investigation revealed Johnson to be in possession of a glass smoking device containing suspected marijuana.
Johnson was arrested and charged with possession of a controlled dangerous substance, suspected marijuana and possession of controlled dangerous substance paraphernalia.
