Disorderly Man Incarcerated
At 12:39 p.m. on Saturday 17th, Officer Best was off duty at the Bryantown Park when he heard two individuals arguing in the parking lot. He approached them, and identified himself as a police officer. He showed them his identification and asked them to lower their voices because it was disturbing the public.
Christopher Michael Clark, 25 years, of Waldorf, refused and became very irate.
Two Charles County Sheriff Deputies arrived and, after numerous attempts to get him to lower his voice and refusing, he was arrested. While attempting to place handcuffs on Mr. Clark, he resisted by pushing away.
Mr. Clark was handcuffed and charged with disorderly conduct and resisting arrest. He was turned over to TFC C. Stevenson for processing and incarcerated in the Charles County Detention Center pending a bond review.
Marijuana Found in Drunk Driver’s Car
A vehicle was stopped in the parking lot of the Festival Shopping Center for a traffic violation at 1:04 am on Wednesday 14th. The driver, Michael Lincoln Rose, 30 years old, of Accokeek, was arrested for driving under the influence.
A search incident to arrest revealed a smoking device with suspected marijuana. Mr. Rose was subsequently charged with possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia. He was incarcerated in the Charles County Detention Center pending a bond review.
