ARRESTS:
On 9/3/2021, Tpr M. Koontz conducted a traffic stop in the area of Point Lookout Road and Loveville Road, Loveville, MD. During contact with the occupants, the operator gave a false name. The driver was identified as Corey Michael McAndrew, 30 of Piney Point, MD. A search of the vehicle revealed various narcotics and packaging supplies which are consistent with the distribution of narcotics. In addition to McAndrew, the occupants, identified as Kristine May Alvey, 28 of Lexington Park, MD and Russell Andrew Randall, 40 of Great Mills, MD were placed under arrest and transported to the St. Mary’s County Detention Center. All subjects were charged with Possession with Intent to Distribute Narcotics; Possession of CDS-Not Marijuana (LSD); Possession of CDS-Not Marijuana (Cocaine); Possession of CDS-Not Marijuana (Suboxone); & Possession of CDS-Not Marijuana (Xanax). McAndrew was additionally charged with Fraud: False Identity to Avoid Prosecution; Obstructing and Hindering.
On 9/5/2021, Tfc R. Kaszubski and Tpr C. Willhite responded to a reported assault at Cedar Point Federal Credit Union, Leonardtown, MD. Investigation revealed the suspect, identified as Mark Allen Jackson, 57 of Lexington Park, MD and the victim were involved in a physical altercation in the drive thru ATM line. During the incident, Jackson struck the victim in the head, causing serious physical injury. Due to the severity of the injury, the victim was transported to PG shock trauma by the Leonardtown Volunteer Rescue Squad. Jackson left the scene but was located a short time later and was placed under arrest. Jackson was transported to the St. Mary’s County Detention Center and charged with Assault First Degree and Assault Second Degree-Aggravated Injury.
On 9/5/2021, Tfc A. Opirhory and Tpr T. Eckrich responded to the Walmart, California, MD for a reported theft. Investigation revealed Steven Christopher Clemons, 41 of Mechanicsville, MD stole merchandise having a value over $100. Clemons was placed under arrest and transported to the St. Mary’s County Detention Center where he was charged with Theft $100 to under $1500-Shoplifting.
On 9/6/2021, Tpr J. Pope conducted a traffic stop in the area of Three Notch Road and St. Andrews Church Road, California, MD. Upon making contact with the vehicle occupants, an odor of marijuana was detected. A probable cause search was conducted and a civil amount of marijuana and CDS-Not Marijuana (Cocaine) was located. The passenger, identified as Luis Enrique David Sanchez, 31 of Lebanon, PA was placed under arrest and transported to the St. Mary’s County Detention Center where he was charged with CDS: Possession-Not Marijuana and CDS: Possession Paraphernalia. During the intake process at the detention center Sanchez attempted to discard additional packages of narcotics. He was also charged with CDS: Possession with Intent to Distribute; and CDS: Possession in a place of confinement.
9/7/2021, Tfc M. Posch and Tpr T. Baden responded to the area of Loveville Road and Kavanaugh Road, Mechanicsville, MD for a reported accident involving a State Highway Administration truck. Investigation revealed that a 1996 Toyota, operated by Keasha Leigh Crafton, 45 of Mechanicsville, left the roadway and struck the SHA truck. There were no injuries as a result of the accident. However, Crafton displayed numerous signs of intoxication and was subsequently placed under arrest for Driving Under the Influence. Crafton was transported to the St. Mary’s County Detention Center.

• On 9/4/2021, Jose Manuel Torres Chavero, 35 of Lexington Park, MD was arrested by Tfc A. Opirhory
• On 9/4/2021, David Brent Godwin, 65 of California, MD was arrested by Tpr C. Riggs
• On 9/5/2021, Donald Wade Balch, 33 of Lexington, MD was arrested by Tpr J. Engleman
• On 9/5/2021, Taniyah Monae Brown, 23 of Baltimore, MD was arrested by Tpr M. Koontz
• On 9/5/2021, Corey Ann Lambden, 24 of Mechanicsville, MD was arrested by Tfc A. Piscopo-Bann
• On 9/5/2021, Robert Joseph Norton, 58 of Plant City, FL was arrested by Tpr K. Poland
• On 9/6/2021, Shane Dustin Gardner, 35 of Mechanicsville, MD was arrested by Tpr C. Riggs
